- Coordinate day to day service needs for clients
- Coordinate marketing for new and renewal coverages
- Coordinate preparation of summaries of insurance, schedules, loss summaries, proposals
- Coordinate claim and cancellation activities for client
- Maintain client files and ensure accurate account information
- Assists in developing strong carrier relationships
- Identify and request renewal exposures from client
- Prepare final submission for new and renewal marketing
- Correspond with carrier underwriters
- Review/Summarize new and renewal quotations
- Coordinate marketing process including underwriting questions while keeping client and producer updated during marketing process
- Finalize new and renewal proposals
- Coordinate binding of coverage
- Complete Coverage Review/Checklists
- Overall responsibility of ensuring coverage is placed correctly
- Complete policy checklists
- Create Loss Summaries
- Validate audits and prepare for delivery
- Manage clients’ accounts receivable
- Issue and quote premium finance agreements
- Complete final review of policy documents and coordinate delivery to client
- Generate Agency Fee agreements when necessary
- Deliver policy documents to client
- Client contract review if needed
- Manage and develop the overall strategy for the account with insurance & non-insurance risk transfer techniques including placement of insurance policies
- Identify opportunities for expanded business through gaps in coverage and program improvements
- Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of renewals, changes, transactions, etc.
- Maintain cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
- Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client and proprietary information.
- Utilize and manage technical productions, applications, and passwords
- College education or equivalent insurance experience
- Ability to communicate and understand orally and in writing with others; explain complex or abstract issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately.
- Property & Casualty General Agents License
- Knowledge of insurance products and usages.
- Knowledge of rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage client and prospect lists.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and accurately perform simple calculation involving decimals and fractions.
- Ability to efficiently utilized all computer hardware and software necessary to perform the job.
- AMS360 experience preferred.
- Ability to perform 70% sedentary work, exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and exert negligible force frequently or constantly to move objects, include the body. May be asked to exert up to 20 lbs. of force periodically, as needed.
- Field of vision must be adequate to observe up and down or right to left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
- Ability to process written materials visually.
- Physical efforts required include fingering, repetitive small motor activities, grasping, verbally communicating detailed and important information to others quickly and accurately, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting light objects, and climbing occasionally.
- Requires ability to receive detailed information through oral communication perceiving the nature of sounds with no less than a 40 dB loss at 500Hz, and 2000 Hz without correction.
