Our agents benefit from our deep transportation-industry expertise, 24/7 customer support, and a full suite of commercial truck insurance products. New sales agents are supported with a commission plan specifically designed to reward early success, helping you earn quickly while building your book of business. With flexible payment options, scalable infrastructure, and a proven niche market, WTI gives you the tools and support to grow a sustainable, high-income career in insurance.
Riding the Wave: Why the Growing Owner‑Operator Market Needs You
The trucking industry is undergoing a major shift — small owner‑operator businesses and single-truck fleets now make up the backbone of freight in America, with over half of all U.S. fleets operating just one truck. These entrepreneurial drivers are growing fast and need expert partners to help them manage complex risks. That’s where you, as a sales agent with WTI, come in: by guiding these independent operators through the insurance purchase process, you’ll be meeting a rapidly expanding market demand, forging valuable relationships, and capturing significant opportunity in a niche that’s both underserved and vital to the economy.
Flexibility & Work Life Balance
At WTI, sales agents benefit from schedules that allow for work-life balance, a supportive team culture, and the chance to build a high-income career on your terms. According to U.S. News & World Report’s 'Best Jobs of 2020,' Insurance Agent ranked #2 on their 'Sales & Marketing Jobs' list, highlighting the strong earning potential and career satisfaction in this field.
Make a Difference in a Trucker Business
As a sales agent with WTI, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in your customers’ businesses and lives. Many small trucking and owner-operator clients face complex insurance decisions that can impact their financial security and daily operations. By guiding them through coverage options, helping them understand their risks, and providing tailored solutions, you become more than just an agent — you become a trusted advisor. Your expertise and support can save them time, money, and stress, while giving them the confidence to grow their business knowing they’re properly protected.
Built-In Job Security: Serving Truckers Who Always Need Insurance
Working with WTI means tapping into a market with built-in job security: truckers and transportation businesses always need insurance. Whether they’re running a single truck or managing a growing fleet, coverage is mandatory, and policies require regular renewal and updates as their operations change. As a sales agent, this creates a steady stream of opportunities, repeat business, and long-term client relationships. By helping truckers navigate their insurance needs, you’re entering a career where demand is consistent, the market is stable, and your expertise is always valued.
